At 6 pm ,we were travelling on a high altitude Himalayan road of Indian Borders. Suddenly the weather changed. It is often dangerous over there whenever the downpour starts in Delhi to Kedarnath .Because the roads between Delhi to Kedarnath were often shed by landslides .Accidents are very common in road than Delhi to Kedarnath train .

Crossing Accidents between Delhi to Kedarnath train

So it’s better to reach the place early. Even before sunset. While we were on our path to Delhi to Kedarnath,a car collided down the hill towards a river nearby. I got slightly terrified after seeing that. Another car got into an accident and it got out of its way towards the right side. It got stuck in a big sand pit. Although the people were alive as they landed on their left. River flows rigorously on the other side.

Fluctuations of Fear – Delhi to Kedarnath by road

Alaknanda flows. It flows ferociously. The roaring sound of Alaknanda in the evening gave me goosebumps. I got terrified after watching its ferocious flow. It can wash out everything without any single effort. I Still cannot forget that new feeling .It was abundant happiness on witnessing the river but un-titled fear ruled simultaneously. Thanking god for saving those people from that accident. We waited for sometime over there for a chai.

Midway of millions of mountains, huge slopes all around ,chill breeze of Himalayan air, sudden drops of temperature, wandering haunted dark clouds, sky kisses the mountains, accidents all the way ,thrill moments when driver bhai moves left towards Alakananda. Finally surprises from landslides too.

Surprises from Landslides – Delhi to Kedarnath

We literally wondered ”whether we would return home or not”. Again we stopped for 15 minutes due to landslides. Police cleared and paved the way towards Phata again. My only wish was to go and come back alive from Kedarnath.

The Bole Baba listened to everything so carefully and did all those things whatever I wished for .It felt haunted while travelling throughout the mountains at night.

Alakananda roars – Delhi to Kedarnath train

Though everything seems to be hard, it doesn’t give a shit .Because Bhole baba was always there behind us .A few moments before, the sun was about to go into his home , a strong breeze held up my face. The moisture of the Alakananda river freezes ,it is icy.

The gushing sound of the Alankandha river started increasing. Gently closed my eyes by listening to its roaring sound and lite music on ears. The drizzle combined with good music plus terrible thoughts. I guess it was a weird feeling. Though it was wired I annoyingly loved it. Unexplainable feeling. Something was there in front yet I couldn’t touch it but I could feel it.

Risky life

These kinds of days won’t come often. Such a thrill drive in Himalayan mountains would increase the adrenaline rush. Though it was high risk at least once  we can enjoy that fear and happiness simultaneously. I had abundant fear. Yeah, let me face whatever the consequences .One more thought that nature won’t hurt me. I may feel to be a stupid talking nonsense. Yet it’s good. I feel good.

Best times – Delhi to Kedarnath train

The unfamiliar waves would give the  best moment. Likewise unfamiliar feelings also would give you an unknown feeling. That feeling would be mad even .No care. Just witness and have fun with it. After all, life is vast and full of worries. Let the worries wash away for sometime.

Nothing will work – Delhi to Kedarnath by road

At 9 p.m still we didn’t reach Phata. I thought of reaching Phata even before sunset .All I knew was only one thing. Nothing will work as per the plan. I felt that shit again and again. Travelling along with the new friends named “high altitude mountains”.I can’t even see how high I was. Full of darkness. One good thing was Alaknanda gave me company  till Phata.

Towards Phata – Kedarnath

Rain stopped .Also reached Phata around 10 p.m. No things will be settling down easily. Need to face many problems before everything. This ride was dangerous.It was full of live or dead moments. Successfully Completed 11 hours of travelling. Phata’s weather was super cool. It was 11 degree. Phata is near to Kedarnath.There will not be any road routes or walkable way to reach Kedarnath from Phata.

Dreamy land- Delhi to Kedarnath

People do have unique dreams to achieve. Some might be too difficult and tedious ,some might be easy. For most of the people’s dream was to get a permanent paying occupation ,few for peace. It depends on their perspective of mind .Like my dream is to visit Delhi to Kedarnath once in my lifetime. To live there for a day. It will reach my salvation .I still can’t believe that I stayed there for 24 hours. I witnessed Kedarnath with all my eyes.

My life has got a meaning. The purpose of life has been fulfilled. Dreams are one of the best feelings. Most people will dream. Dream is just a dream till the very end. Only a few were getting to the fulfilment stage. But in my case, my dream came true. I was living my dream life in the month of June. The same life turned from reel to real. Well ,How? When? What happened?

Delhi to Kedarnath – Kedarnath Shivling

Just for that “one second” ,my soul waited 23 years. Mostly in Northern parts of Indian states Kedarnath Shivling will be in the form of a cone shaped. As lord is formless. He will be  everywhere and in everyone’s heart. He is the universe for me too.
