Summer is the best time to visit.Yet it will be cool in summer.

Sersi to Kedarnath

Same with the way from Sersi to kedarnath.4.5K for Sersi (Round trip).

Guptkashi to Kedarnath

Prices would be 7k from Guptkashi for round trip .

The distance from Guptkashi to Phata is 14.2 kilometres.Guptkashi is the finest place when it is compared with Sersi and Phata.It is comparatively easy to get a helicopter service in Guptkashi.There were many private services in Guptkashi than in Phata and Sersi.

So , the best pick is Guptkashi. But in my case I don’t have tickets for booking Guptakashi. So I chose Phata . Sersi is 7 kilometres away from Phata. Less helicopter services would be there in Phata and Sersi. I didn’t choose Phata .Phata has chosen me.

Best pick would be Thumby as I got to know from others. But again I didn’t choose Thumby.Global Vectra services chose me.Heli services are difficult to get for many people. As I knew many people tried for getting heli tickets for 2 persons .Even for that one or two they didn’t get. They have tried for months in order to get those heli tickets. But awfully it was all of vain for everyone who were all tried.

The distance between Guptkashi and  kedarnath is 18 kilometers.The distance between Gaurikund and Guptakshi is 30 kilometres.

Procedure to book helicopter – Kedarnath helicopter price

Again I’m saying it is tedious to get a helicopter ticket. The booking will be open every ten days once. No prior booking is there. Or they will mention the slots for each week prior 7 -10 days. Every Time it will open at 12 noon sharp or 2 minutes after noon .We should be focused while booking tickets again.

Same day return requires for a stay about 3 hours in Kedarnath.Sometimes it takes even 2 hours to 8 hours.Purely depends on weather.If weather is bad but one way allowed, we need to be in a situation to handle the double way to return.

Everything depends on weather .As the weather changes within minutes and seconds. They may even cancel the helicopter under bad weather conditions.

Planning and presence of mind are the two things we need to keep in our mind .We should not expect anything. Because sometimes it will go smoothly yet sometimes it will be terrible.

The terrible way happened for me yet i escaped with god’s grace.I availed for same day return but due to bad weather my service for helicopter postponed to next day.I stayed for a day .Luckily we got rooms there but with high price.That’s not a matter.The next day I came back to Phata after sitting in helipad queue for hours.

As I planned to return on the same day. As nothing goes as per our plan. I stayed one day and luckily they didn’t cancel my boarding pass for return. I returned safe because of Baba.

By Trek

Let’s see another way of transportation. People mostly go by walk. The trek starts from Gaurikund People have to take a whole day trek about 17 kilometers to see the baba. Body should be physically fit. Oxygen level would be 40 percent so need to take care of our body. Staying hydrated with energy drinks is must. Will power is the number one to possess.

Registration before Booking – Kedarnath helicopter price

Before booking the helicopter, we need to register on the Uttarakhand tourism website. Upload your picture and required details online. Plan for the places and date for visiting. then group id will be created. With the allocated group id apply for helicopter services.

Process will be smooth. Book the slots for availability with that group id. Have fun with the smooth boarding. Prices would be 7k from Guptkashi for round trip .4.5K for Phata and Sersi (Round trip).
