Digging The History

Pandav Caves located in Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh. Pachmarhi is a central part of the state .This is located in Narmadapuram district. Have you heard about Pancha Pandav? Have you heard about Mahabharata? Mahabaratha is the epic story that took place long ago .A war took place in Hastinapur. Hastinapur is situated in North India .Pancha Pandav were sons of a king , they married Draupadi . Due to some internal problems in between their fellow family members , they were asked to stay out of the town, so they lived in various parts of Indian forests.

They started travelling from Hastinapur to middle part of India ,then to Pushkar .I am not aware of this history in full fledge .As they all stayed in a cave for a while, let’s go to that Pandav cave .They stayed in a forest located in Madhya Pradesh.

Unknown Pretty Forests – Pandav Caves

So , the cave where they stayed was popularly known as “Panch Pandav Caves”. I overtook this place in a fine noon. The sun is as usual hot. As I was in a central part of India. It’s killing and sucking my energy much harder. As Madhya Pradesh is the center , where sun would shine much more brighter, so it produces more heat. That too in summer ,it will be worst. I went in summer. Again a mistake! If we go deep into the forests, we wouldn’t able to feel that much heat.

As trees with much height and green mountains will protect us from ultraviolet rays of afternoon’s sun. There were a big slope .It looked like a half pierced mountainous slope.

Private life in Pandav Caves

The slope looks dangerous .Imagine a half pierced mountain with a big pond in a deep, surrounded by only trees. No people around. I haven’t seen anyone there. The full environment is so calm. I can able to hear only the chirping sounds of various birds, buzz sounds of honey bees. The night insects un-natural sounds. This environment and atmosphere seems to be mystery.

None can get you ,if you hide here .One can get huge amount of privacy throughout their life. Kind of a secret place to live a private life. It’s seriously an offbeat good place to live in peace.

River Narmadha flows

As the trees gave a cool vibes, it’s pretty chill inside the deep forests. Narmadapuram is a place where river Narmadha is flowing? Isn’t it? Comment me if I’m wrong. Just a random guess. As I told this hill is located down the lane of the mountains. To reach down the lane the, steep steps were constructed by the government. Narmadha river flows in this state too.

Waterfalls – High

The look of nature was unexplainable. While coming down from up to down the temperature decreases. Its cool. A big green colored pond with a pretty depth is located in the center. The small variety of rare fishes happily swimming and jumping .They were playing in the pond so happily. They are joyfully diving one surface to another so easily. The pond is so fresh.

Nature is best

The water from the pond tastes so good. Water is coming from a high stretched waterfalls. Flowing water will be so pure as we know. The water coming from falls is so divine and soothing. The sound gushes me out. It so calm .The Water pouring sound is just wow .

My ear wants to hear that sound daily. There was a circular pavement around the pond .Honeycombs are common in this place. If anyone hunts ,they will get pure form of forests honey .But it’s a kind of sin, disturbing the life of peaceful honey bees for honey is unfair. 

Honeycombs , Deer

The sizes of the honeycombs were big. If in case anyone hits ,it would be tough to escape from the honeybees. One of the unnecessary things. Deer’s were also common in this cave .The deer will come and go then and there . As this place is so private many animals will come and go. When I heard that deer’s would be the guests coming to this place, I got panic attack .What if deer hunt us? Every beautiful place is dangerous .People were not allowed to visit after evening.

Peaceful Pandav Caves

Near to the waterfalls , spacious caves can be witnessed. Those were the caves where Pancha Pandavas and Goddess Drupati stayed for many years. They killed their time by staying in this picture-some place . It’s unimaginable even to think of it.

The feel of being in the middle of a thick dense forests ,a wonderful waterfalls with a gushing sound, cuckoo ‘s chirping sounds, calming environment of honeycombs ,mystical entry of deer’s ,greenish pond with deep depth , overwhelming fishes jumps…wow this life is so good when I remember this kind of situation.

Our generation needs to preserve nature and feel with it .It’s so magical to spend time with nature. It makes me happiest .Days like these makes my life to live for. Everyone has bundle of problems I knew ,but this kind of days were needed to take a break for a while. Nature is vast ,we are just living for a while to witness its beauty.
